breeding shrimp

i want to breed red cherry shrimp and try to have at least over 100 so i can put them in my nice tanks if you have any info on it please tell thanks :biggrin:

ohhh they are super easy.

I have 100+ in my 20 gallon.

Just do regular water changes, provide quality food and use a sponge filter. If you have an HOB filter make sure you cover the intake.

Lots of java moss and I'd go with a sand substrate.

nothing really special, they are highly adaptable in a species only tank :)

+1 it really is that easy!! I do occasional water changes, feed every other day or so, and watch them mulitply.
As a few others have said.....get a tank....add water....a couple of plants and stand back and watch them multiply!....haahaa.

as for plant. i suggest moss. haha my shrimp love the moss tank and they are all multiplying like crazy, but my dwaft hair grass tank they are slowly multiplying and they much more shrimp in that tank to start with.
