Hey guys,

I have a 20G long tank, dimensions 30x12x12 inches. I was thinking about some shrimp, probably some neos. I already have 6 sterbai cory and 5 otos--is this too much stock for the bottom of the tank? The otos rarely spend time on the substrate itself, they are mostly on the plants, driftwood, and glass.

I have 6 cories (3 emerals and 3 peppered) and 4 ottos in a 20 HIGH, so I think you'll be just fine.
You might think twice about shrimp since cories do eat shrimplets...so do neons...

However, you can add just neons since they only roam the middle of the tank. I got a school of 6 of them in the same tank as the bottom feeders.

I have a 20 long with 10 pygmy cories, 3 peppered cories and 4 otos, i think itll be fine!
