it look slightly different than the 4 Boesemani I have in the tank and it's also bigger. All 4 of my boesemani half their body are orange and this guy got some yellow at the front part of the body too.
They tend to be more green/blue ish. They also get more yellow or orange in them when stressed.
parkinsoni are a much longer slender bow, and they start out light blue and gain the color in their tails as they age, it is very pronounced as well as the color grows towards its head http://rainbowfish.angfaqld.org.au/Parkinsn.htm
No probs. There are a few species of bows that have females looking very pretty, Female Lacustrus look like males. Female pygmaeya while a little less colorful are very pretty as well.
