Started off great, but now dominates too much. I could drastically cut back, but I suspect its just the wrong plant.

Anyone suggest a similar "grassy" looking plant that won't get beyond 10cm tall please?

I'm in the UK so may be a bit difficult to ship! I have dwarf hairgrass in there already. May let that spread out, I guess?

I've never seen Blyxa reach for the surface like that. It may be an optical illusion; but it looks 6" tall or more. Increasing light should keep it from getting so leggy (which dwarf hairgrass will do too under the "right" conditions), but that looks like a bright tank. I've got Blyxa in several tanks and it's never grown like yours. I was convinced it was a different plant until I looked closer.

Seriously, it's getting on for 30cm tall.

Hand for scale.

Try eriocaulon breviscapum or similar eriocaulon species. They will stay small.
