which one will make a good backround plant in a 29 tall tank....
The following four plants tend to grow tall against the background of my tank and seem to grow well there and look good as background aquascaping plants at the same time.

Hygrophila sp 'Guinea' - $6/Stem
Murdannia sp 'Red' - $/4 Stem
Hygrophila sp 'Bihar' - $4/Stem
Polygonum sp 'Porto Velho' - $1.00/Stem

The above mentioned plants won't do well on gravel substrate; they prefer organic substrate (like eco-complete, ADA Amazonia) to thrive. They also require at least 3 watts/gallon of lighting, CO2, fertilizer and pH of 6 to 7.

It has been a tremendous pleasure to do business with Crispino. He is prompt, fair, generous, honest, reliable, and his plants are beautiful, rare, and algae-free.
