These were taken with my iPhone 4S, not my DSLR, so I'm not claiming them as macros or my best work, but I wanted to share what mine are looking like.

PS. And Speedie mislead me: my berried female is NOT green like he told me she would be. *pout*

I can't wait until my tank is fully cycled, decorated and ready to go for my blue's!!!! You're shrimp are looking GREAT!!!!
Nice picture of yellow eggs - the shrimp must hold them together with a sac or tiny cords.
I said "some", didn't mean all. lol

Here's a blue berried female I shot yesterday: http://images61.fotki.com/v440/photos/4/1503564/9978651/photo-vi.jpg

As you can see she's not green either ;)
What did we decide these shrimp were bred from? I see the red spots on your female's cheeks and I have at least one male with red spots on his cheeks.

I'm pretty sure they use bungee cords...:icon_lol:

Cant Wait till my tank is all ready to go for some of these beauties, speedie!
I've been saying and and I'll say it again Lisa: There were derived from Red Rili! ;)
At what point are they blue velvet and not blue rilli? I have several all blue offspring from my red rilli, but I just assumed they would be blue rilli.

Ps I love all the color morphs! :)

Breed them out and see what you get my friend. Keep us posted. That's ultimately how velvets and blue rllis came into existence. Lots of selective breeding is my assumption since I'm not the actual breeder who developed the lines.
Wow Lisa ..... Green or Yellow ..... They are beautiful ...... if I can finagle another tank I would love to have some blues to go with my cherries and yellows ..... but I have got a 55gal, 2-29gal, 2-20gal when my wife only agreed to a 29gal ..... so I think I did great .... I have 5 more 20gal but she said I must sale them ..... but again they are beautiful .... thank you for sharing ..... J.D.
