I am building a 20 long sump for my 40 gal tank to replace the 10 I am using now. I am planning on using strips of the blue foam board insulation a to hold a couple of shelves of small eggcrate that will hold sponge and bio media. I am suddenly concerned it may not be aquarium safe. What I have is scraps and the writing is no longer legible. I have Googled and found results for and against using it. Does anyone have any experience using it? I can use some scape glass but , I would rather not have to cut and sand the edges of narrow glass pieces. TIA

Yes I mean the insulation. Ok I had decided to not use it because of all the uncertainty. I will just make them out of eggcrate as you suggested. Thanks.
