I am just starting my 10 gallon medium light planted tank. I am going the diy route for co2. Ive read its best to shut thoe co2 off at night. I was thinking og putting in a plastci t-valve to open at night so now co2 would enter the tank. Anyone else try this?

That should work. What do you have in your tank and what is the PH normally at? You might be able to get away with it running overnight.

Are you saying you want to cut your c02 off at night? In a diy system I would not do that. The pressure might build up and blow up your bottle.

no,i would open the t valve so the co2 would release before it got to the tank.in the morning id just open it back up
