Hey guys, a while back (February) I picked up some blackberry shrimp and it seemed like stress and age got the best of them. Water parameters were stable and safe since they were introduced. I have about 2 of the original group left, and 2-3 juvies that one managed to carry to term. Petco finally ordered in some replacements for me and I have added another 12 to the mix! These guys look a bit younger, which is good, and I have at least two with berries.

Things look promising but when I was acclimating them I was also re-mineralizing a bit and elevated my gH to 9-10 and my kh to about 8....This seems a little too high for comfort. I usually have it sitting at about 6 for each. Is the best method some slow water changes with RO? Should I pick up a chemical based gH dropper? I am trying to balance safest with most effective method, any feedback would be appreciated
