I made it to Petsmart at 7:00am waiting next to the crazy cat lady that bought what looked like a pallet of kitty litter but it was totally worth it! I picked up a Fluval Spec V for $49.99 and my big success purchase! A Fluval Spec 2 with no LED light that was on sale for $47.99 with an additional 40% off for a grand total of $28!!! :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Anyone else do some black Friday shopping?

I'm at work, but actually, I stopped by the petsmart in my plaza for some hikari first bites, it was 730, a few minutes ago.

Well, I ended up walking out with a spec V lol and fish food.

Shopped online at Petco and got a $60 minibow for about $25 (with my $5 Petco Pals discount) with free shipping. Sweet! Also ordered a heater and a few other things from Fosters & Smith, altho wasn't as impressed with the discount there.

Razor, I too was best buddies with the Advil this morning!

I took advantage of the online black friday sales and from bigalspets I got a marineland 350B for $24 dollars & if i use the mail-in rebate it will be $14,

I also got a few cichlid stones for $2.40 each. black diamond carbon big 40oz for $9 and other misc items for %50 off & free shipping,

Tiger Barbs!!! Currently have 28 and looking to get more before the sale is over. Saved around $45 so far on fish today...

Not really. I had my eye on 2 SSDs on Newegg, both of which displayed incorrect prices after using the promo codes and were still sold out instantly when the prices actually worked. Ended up having to settle for a drive that was $15 more. Needless to say, I'm going to cease business with them. If you're going to put something on sale for Black Friday then at least have more than 3-5 of the things in stock, y'know? :icon_roll Not that I can't get most of the stuff on Amazon for the same price or less without having to fill out rebate forms and wait several weeks. :hihi:

went into a petco store to try and pick up a 40g Brooklyn Metal Stand for my 12g Long, but they wouldn't honor the online price, so i went home and ordered it online, $49 shipped!!!(free shipping)

on wednesday i had marine depot price match big al's on an eheim 2213, went over to marine depot's will call door and picked it up for $68.41 out the door. :)
