that was a good video, even though I didn't understand a word of it except "apistogramma" lol.

I think we keep our tanks too clean :D Gives a look at how their favorite environments look like.

I was thinking the same exact thing.

We caught Apistos and Laetacara in just about every scoop in places like this:







That muck, believe it or not, is cow manure. Apistos and other dwarf cichlids everywhere.

The only aquatic plants we saw in Apisto habitat were floaters and a few swords in shallow water. Nothing else. Leaf litter, tannins, and driftwood would make the "truest" Apisto habitat.
