I have my biocube 14 with the stock pump setup. It seems that the stock pump puts out a ton of water and creates a pretty serious current in the tank. This has been pushing my plants around and makes my fish have to fight the current a good bit. I would love to add some shrimp, but I think they would have even more trouble.

Any advice on decreasing the flows? I tried adding a spraybar that i had from an eheim canister filter, but it's still producing a pretty serious current.

Not sure how big ur outlet pipe is but for mine i use to use a sponge filter over the outlet.
