So I just got a Biocube 14 and have been looking at switching the lighting to LED. I did the same on another tank I had using a Finnex Fugeray and did very well with that.
After looking at multiple LED options with custom builds, I stumbled upon the Finnex Fugeray Planted+ lights. The fluorescent bulbs that these LED's would be replacing are about 13 inches long....exactly the length of the 12" finnex fixture and they're only 1" thick. I figure i can just remove the current lights and rig something to hold the Finnex lights in place.
Would end up being $100 and not having to screw with wiring/soldering/etc.
Thoughts?
