I just ordered a sunsun 303b canister filter. I just received the bio balls and was wondering if it would be beneficial to float the bio balls in the aquarium now while I wait for the filter to arrive? The tank they would be floating in is already cycled. How many days of floating would it take to get a good bacteria colony started?
