If blue green algae is supposed to be good for you, why aren't the fish eating it in the aquarium? hm? anyone else thing it's very strange that they're bottling the stuff and/or pilling it up for human consumption? Seriously, who would stick their finger in the goop and eat it?

Bah... just ranting about rediculousness.

There was a topic on here a while ago about it, and I think the general agreement is that you should just eat right... BGA is a PITA! But if you get it... why not eat it::hihi::

Crazy people nowadays What is one of the biggest things advertized on the TV? Weight loss products.. And sleeping products.

Oh, and beer!

Humans have different nutritional needs than fish. Spirulina is really gaining a lot of support lately. Some show had a brief tour of a spirulina factory over in Asia. They grow the stuff in HUGE pools. Kind of interesting.

If you want weight loss, it's as easy as healthy diet and cardio. No magic pill needed. Although there are combinations of easy to get supplements that will help shed the weight faster. ;)

I also saw a show where they were growing algae as a way of reducing CO2 emissions from a power plant... the waste CO2 from the plant was piped into these huge cylinders which were out in the sun. The cylinders were filled with water and had the CO2 bubbling through them and you could see they were thick with bright green algae.
