TFHM is very high quality. Even if I ignore the marine content I think I get more than enough out of it to justify a subscription. They are also really stepping up the planted tank content which is a plus.
Wow, So that's what a script costs.Of course, I also just splurged on a Practical Fishkeeping subscription ($100/year YIKES) but apparently I won't start actually getting it till next year due to overseas shipping... (that part sucks too...)
I missed the boat on that one. What is really bad is that they were advertising it on sites I was visiting and I never even noticed. In the end I paid for the print + electronic version.A few months ago you could get a one year online subscription for $1.
I almost missed it. I got in on the last day.I missed the boat on that one. What is really bad is that they were advertising it on sites I was visiting and I never even noticed. In the end I paid for the print + electronic version.
That sucks. Don't you have them in barnes&noble in your area? We do, and it cost $13 or so per issue. I never bought it myself but I was reading it in B&N and I was very impressed.I get both but TFH is definitely my fav hobbyist magazine to date. The pictures are always amazing and I think the quality and diversity of the articles is usually higher. (It's also pretty funny how the issues "mirror" each other in topic from month to month... gotta love those competition wars...)
