I have a 20 gallon long with 16 females and currently 5 pygmy cories. My question is would it be okay to add more pygmy cories?

The tank is heavily planted and everyone gets along, but feel like a few more cories would help balance out the tank.

Having had breed and shown Bettas I would never have 16femalebettas together in a tank unless they are very young. Since they are labyrinth fish they are a huge load on the oxygen levels in the tank however they do have a tendency of fighting in close quarters. For a 30 gallon I would not go beyond 6 adult females. However you can add other fish as a few more curies or peaceful species of tetras to add movement to the tank.
