What a beauty! Did you get him from Aquabid? Some of the Thai Betta's look so awesome but I am afraid to pull the trigger due to them being so far away. Did you go through a trans shipper?

Thank you Tabatha & Sam. Yes I did get him from AB, and did use a transhipper. I realized after looking at how much it cost to ship the package, the transhipper really makes very little profit. To me it was worth it, he is fabulous. I have kept bettas for years, but never one of this quality. I am really glad I got him. He is very young, only a few months old...another plus since you really don't know when you get them at a LFS. I have seen CT at LFS, but never a HM.

I have a Wallmart Crowntail, he's a real ham though butt ugly in the Betta world, I'm sure. He loves to roll himself up in the watersprite and take a nap. The first time I found him on his side I thought he was a goner. Then he woke up and swam away, cheeky bugger!

He's truly a beauty! I often look at AB too, but had to stop.

get a female next time too.. That way you won't have to go half around the world for another one.

I believed it is a half moon not delta tail. Notice how the tail is shape like a fan.

May I ask how much the transhipper charges?

I am really not into setting up every vessel in my home for fish. Including the snail farm, I am at 7 now. I have to stop somewhere, I don't think there is any free outlets left in the house..hah. Transhipping cost me 31.60, the postage was $21.40, so she made just over $10. Thanks everyone.

He is beautiful. What do they call that color?

Thank you susankat. He is called pineapple purple, I had never seen one like him. He has a cool personailty too.
