Are Betta better with Glowlight or Neon Tetra(black version or blue version) , or none of the them?

I am thinking of buying a few smaller fish to go along with my 10 gallon male betta tank.

I was wondering what small fish might be ok with it?

I was thinking either Neon or Glowlight Tetra.

I have some glowlight in my shrimp tank and they seem pretty peaceful but I wonder if 78 degrees is too warm for them?

Considering the relative size difference, unless you have very large tetras, your beta will look at those small tetras and eat them.
He will be very well fed.

Thats true,or the tetras got chased until they jump out of the tank:surprise:

I had tetras in a 10 gallon with a betta for a couple of years. He never paid attention to them. I think it depends on the betta's attitude.

Very true. Some are perfectly fine with tankmates, some hate them, and some are fine... until, one day, they put on a goalie mask and call themselves "Jason." :surprise:

I've experienced all three. Bettas are my favorite fish, but it really is a roll of the dice to put them with others.
