I have a 10 gallon with a betta and 2 neons. They get along good and even swim together sometimes. The funny thing is I have bought 2 other pairs of neons in the past week, and both times I added one of these pairs to this tank, the next morning the new pair was dead and my betta and 2 original neons are swimming around the tank. Does anyone else consider this odd?

Neons are sensitive and shocked easily when put in a new tank. Doesn't seem odd. Every time I add neons to any tank, I lose a few the first 24 hours. Drip method to acclimate seems to work best with them. If you just float the bag for 30 min's, then put them in, you may lose a few. Even with the drip method the first 24 hours in the tank are tricky, and you still may lose some IME.
