I need a new light for my high tech 10g. I'm running pressurized CO2 and dry fertz. I'm growing various rotalas, e. diversifolia, fissidens, lobelia, HM, HC, bacopa, and various others. I'm wanting to upgrade from my ghetto lighting setup (Two perfecto hoods with a 15W bulb each).

I'll leave this open to discussion, and I appreciate all of your comments/suggestions.

Thanks,

Charlie

Ya know, I'm in the same predicament. I think I am going DIY at home depot.
They have single bulb and double bulb T-5 shop lights 24". All you have to do is upgrade the bulb. The lamp comes with 1 or 2 14 watters. It will hang over
two inches on each side and should add plenty of light. The only question is what temperature bulb and how many watts.

I've got a Current USA dual 40-watt Satellite that I use on a 10g. The plants love it, and I chose it after looking at a lot of options. I wasn't willing to have the fixture hang over the sides and the Current is exactly 20". Bulbs are a little pricey, but should last longer than normal fluorescent bulbs.
