Hey guys.. I'm going to have about 3.5wpg of t5HO on my 10g high-tech, (yes the fixture will be several inches from the top of the tank lol)... anyway, the fixture holds 2 bulbs.. wha twould be the best combo?

2 6700k
1 6700k + 1 10,000k
1 6700k+ 460nm
or 10,000k_460nm

The 6700k are ones I bought from truelumen... and the 10,000k and athe 460 are the ones that came with the light fixture..

Deep Blue Professional is coming out with a "Dual Daylight" fixture that uses a 6700K and a 10000K tube, and Coralife has a twin tube with a 6700K tube and a Colormax tube.

These are freshwater setups and use 14 watt tubes (28 watts total).

If you already have a 10k I would just pick up a 6700k and do one of each. Try the 10k bulb out first and see if you like the "color" it is. Some people prefer 6700 vs 10k for their planted tanks because of the more natural color from 6700k.
