Hello, I'm shopping for three humble 18 inches(15W ea.) T-8 bulbs that will be used in my triple strip fixture for a 20 gallon high tank. Just want your opinions and experience on brand, color temp. mix and best combo for plant growth and fish color.

thanks

Here's a good combination that I recommend. I've used the two first lamps several times together and they grow plants well for the wattage.

Zoo Med Flora Sun lamp. It's 8500K and it's a pinkish color.

Interpet's Triplus lamp. It used to be called Triton. It also grow plants well. Don't worry about the comment that it will works in saltwater aquariums. It looks blue compared to the Flora Sun lamp. But, when you place it beside a 5000K to 6700K lamp; it looks pink.

Your third lamp could be anything from 5000K to 10,000K or a Colormax lamp or another plant lamp or whatever. There's lots of choices here.
