The Amano series (Nature Aquarium World books 1-3) are the best for inspiration. Walstad's book is much like a textbook, but an excellent read and reference book.

The Kasselmann plant book (not the aquarium one) is an awesome reference for botanical classification. I don't know it might be out of print(?).

Heiko Bleher has a pretty good series with biotope info.

Peter Hiscock and Diana Walstad are 2 other good authors.

The Kasselmann plant book (not the aquarium one) is an awesome reference for botanical classification. I don't know it might be out of print(?).

I had to request our city library (inter-library loan department) to find that book for me. They were able to find one from a Kansas library.
