So I'll be coming in possession of a tank between 60-90 gallons, how should I stock it? I'm either thinking of riparium style and labrynth fish (hatchet? or would they be able to jump out even with such a low water level...), or trying a larger planted tank (just undecided about fish to have).

My first tank is a 30 high planted, i'm pushing it toward being a rasbora community while it's still in the works. I don't want to go for another rasbora tank now, but something that can help me expand my experience.

Angelfish, neon tetras, celestial pearl danios, white clouds, discus or roseline sharks are a few fish you can try. All of them are schooling fish that would look nice in a riparium

I've been drafting up ideas since last night, my favorite of which is a "stacked river rock" themed tank. 4-5 stacks of natural river rock placed around the tank. DHG carpet, something like rotala sp. Vietnam as the main background plant. I'm trying to find some "viney" strand plant, some species of hydrocotyle, for around the rock structures. I'd also want to try and experiment with moss on the rocks, but I don't know what species of moss to grow that won't take over the appeal of the stacks. For inhabitants I think I decided on a pair of GBRams or GGRams, or just a giant shrimp tank :) If that idea fails, then tetra schooling is next on the list
