This is my first planted tank, I have just gotten the 75 gal setup, plants put in, lights turned on... and now I wait. Can you tell me if I've made any mistakes, or if you think my plan will be a success? I'm not planning on Co2.

Tank is a standard 75 gal, I have hard water with 8.0 ph. I have this 48 inch Beamswork light on for 6 hours a day. I'm not sure if this light is enough.

For filtration I have the fluval FX4, substrate is blasting sand.

I put one of these root tabs under each group of plants listed below.

For plants I ordered a 'low tech starter pack' that included these:
ludwigia super red mini
ludwigia ovalis
mermaid weed
duiplis diandra
hornwort
hygro 'compacta'
ludwigia dark red
golden lloydelia
hygro salicifolia
sparkle sword
Amazon sword
s. repens
c. undulata
c. Wendt red
anubias

Do you think my setup will work to keep the plants growing well? Being a Noob I'm constantly second guessing and worried that I'm missing something.

Thanks!!

Looks good to me, but I'm a newb also, a newb with 20 years experience. LOL. Will you be dosing fertilizers in the water column?

It's looking sparse now but I'm guessing it was just setup.

Thank! Yes, I was also going to add ferts. I have the aquarium coop easy green. It's been setup only a couple of hours at the time of the picture.
