My moss, dwarf sag, driftwood, and Java Fern are becoming infested with Staghorn/BBA. I've read on these algaes and was wondering to kill it, which would be better to use the dip method;Hydrogen Peroxide or Bleach? I have a 3 gallon bucket. What is a good ratio for the better choice of dip method? How long do I soak?

What are your specs? water column, dosing, lighting, ferts, CO2, filter if any. Regards, jC.

I had the same probelm. I did a bleach dip and all the algae turned white, i used 9 parts water and 1 part bleach, the soaked the drift wood and moss in it for 1 minute and 30 seconds. All the algae from the moss is gone and the moss is now a healthy bright green.
