I am not an expert at algae at all...in 4 years of having a tank I never had it, till now (of course, I am new to plants too).

Is this BBA or Fuzz algae? I am having a hard time with the difference. It is either extremely dark or black.

My Wisteria (on a few of the leaves, mostly in the middle of it).

My Micro Swords...the only plant that isn't really growing in my tank.

I guess the same thing is on my filtration...

Any ideas? I know from trying to get it off the filter bars, it is a pain in the rump (it doesn't wipe off).

Looks like BBA - start dosing Excel, cut the affected sections of Wisteria off, bleach your filter pipes & toss the micro swords. What's that substrate they're in?

looks like you've got both BBA and staghorn algae.

The substrate is just plain gravel from Petsmart...with root tabs pushed in.
