Hello,
I have a 55 gallon tank and in one corner of the tank I made a separate section, made out of craft mesh, for my female betta sorority. The problem is that I can't put gravel in it because it's too heavy for the mesh. So right now it's "bare bottom", and I can't figure out how to make it look nice with plants in it. I tied a java fern to a stone, but I can't use a lot of stones to tie my plants to because it will get too heavy. I tried weighing down a bunch of compacta with a bobby pin but it looks really stupid and it's top-heavy so it just tips over on its side...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

It's that plastic mesh used for yarn crafts, right? Just tie the plants with some thread and a needle straight to the mesh. Then you can put as many ferns as you want.

Sometimes things must be redone a few times to make them perfect. :)
