Anybody know...

I hate not knowing... People advertise plants as one thing and you see that they are another. Or there are multiple names for one plant. Should be easier lol.

No, different plant. Same species, but a form with different growth properties. It's a very widespread species, so it shouldn't be surprising that it's not the same everywhere.

So same species (or plant), just grown differently to get that compact form?

So basically I could take regular monnieri and train it to be 'compact'?

I have seen several species that can have a tall version and a short version ie hygro corymbosa has a compact version and a regular version, altelanthera reinckii has a compact and a regular version, sagittaria has a dwarf version and a regular version but I have never in my life seen or heard about bacopa having any type of dwarf/compact/short version. if in fact this is a dwarf bacopa monneri, please grow a ton and sell me some. I love the stuff but it gets so tall and takes up so much water column space in my tanks that I stopped using it

I actually only have Bacopa caroliniana and Bacopa Australis. I'm looking into growing plants to sell, so I wanted to learn a bit more about different Bacopa species.

I'm actually uncertain that my caroliniana is in fact caroliniana because the different "forms" are so similar.

I do like the "compact" form and I want to get it.
