I am thinking about pulling all my Vals out, I have ton of them for the back ground, they just are not doing well. When I trim them the entire part of the plant seems to die. I also don't want something I am having to reach in the back of the tank all the time and pull to trim the base of it.
Here what I have in the tank and they are doing great.

Water Sprite
Sagittaria, Dwarf
I was thinking, all swords for the back ground, but really want something that will fill in like the vals.
Any thoughts?
