I have a planted 55 gal. that I planted about 8 weeks ago with three 10" x 10" mats of baby tears ordered from an aquatic store. I have CO2 but the baby tears appear to be slowly declining and melting. :eek5: I am at the point of trying to decide whether to give them a few more weeks, or to pull them out.

Wondering what you would do. If I take them out - should I take them out over a span of days - like one at a time - in order to avoid releasing too much noxious gas that may have accumulated between the mats and the substrate? I have Eco-Complete substrate by the way.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
