One of my females dropped her eggs on March 8. Thought I would share some pictures.

First sighting of baby on glass 3 days later (picture taken 2007-03-11)

13 days old (picture taken 2007-03-21) on glass and still completely translucent.

Here’s another picture the same day. The pond snail gave it some scale.

The rest of the pictures were taken 2007-03-31 (23 days old). Here's one next to some adults. Some red coloring is beginning to show. It's still tiny (substrate is fluorite).

I wish you had a ruler next to the baby shrimp. How big was the shrimp in picture 1?

Why must we know the exact size of the baby newborns? Just have patience until you get some of your own! And take out any fish lol.

Those are awesome reference pictures. Thanks man! Now I can estimate their age.
