WHAT is the deal with the Azoo Max foods? I've got just about every mass-produced shrimp food available in the United States (beyond fresh veggies) and it's the Azoo Max stuff that drive all of my shrimp insane.

Even the MTS crawl up out of the sand and chow down when I drop the wafers into the tank. It's borderline obscene watching the feeding frenzy.

This doesn't happen with any other food.

Anyone else have similar experiences? (Most of the posts I've found on the forum are dated, asking if anyone had tried the foods)

There's gotta be some sort of drug in this stuff.

Mine go nuts for the fluval stuff believe it or not. lol. I feed that and there is hardly ever any left over and what is the snails go right away, even the assassins. lol.

Mine go nuts over the Azoo foods as well. The square don't even touch the substrate once the feeding frenzy starts, instead it floats suspended in a swarm of tiny snapping shrimp claws as they attack it from above and below.

It's pretty entertaining to see the shrimp-ball roll its way back and forth across the tank with the snails chasing after, but they rarely catch up.

Mine goes for borneo wild spinach they love that stuff.

Same here although the stupid pond snails seem to actually love the food more than even the shrimp.

I have 7 different kind of shrimp food and they all go crazy...
Like Azoo food, I break down 3 pieces and feed them.

Mine weren't really crazy about the Azoo at first, but now they really like it. I also feed Hikari and the Fluval shrimp foods

How often and how many pellets of azoo should you feed? Just recently purchased it

I usually ad 1-2 wafers per 50 shrimp. It's usually gone in a couple hours. If it's not, my Ramshorn and other snails scarf it down.
