I have a 20 gallon long freshwater tank infused with CO2, and it's been taking up a lot of liquid fertilizers so I'm switching to dry ferts, and plan to use an auto doser. The Jebao Programmable Auto Dosing Pump DP-4 but I also read that some of the more expensive auto dosers can work with a phone app for a control panel. Is there any anyone can recommend as reliable but not breaking the bank? I don't mind spending a couple hundred if it's a good reliable product that will work long-term.

I have the kamoer x1. I really like it. I have 2 of them, 1 for micro, 1 macro. I didn't see the need for a 4 chamber pump. ALso I didn't want to crawl into my cabinet to mess with my dosing while fine tuning. The phone app is super easy to use. They are quite small as well, so they don't take up a tonne of space.

Do you ever have issues with air getting in the tubing?

nope, but i did buy their tubing and one-way valves.
