Does anyone know of a LFS in the Hartford area which has any assassin snails?

I would try Aquatic Wildlife in Manchester, they are probably your best bet. Although I've seen them at Petco and most fish stores.

Yes, if you'd like to pay for snails marked up 200%, go to aquatic. I would suggest Wet Pets in Vernon. They always have assassin snails and the guys over there are great!

All Pets Club lists them as available on their website at all 4 locations. Was just at Wallingford and don't remember seeing any but they probably had them. They sell them for 2.99 or 2.39 with RClub. You could always call any of the stores.
