Hi guys not a huge amount of knowledge on snails so hoping you can help me. I have 3 assassin snails along with a few mystery and nerite. I initially purchased the assassins due to a large amount of nuisance snails I was finding after purchasing a Java fern mat. They have done an excellent job and I rarely see many of these unwanted snails but I see plenty of empty shells from them.

I've noticed 2 of my assassins pretty much stuck to each other for long periods of time. I've noticed tiny little snails with the shell shape of the assassins.

So to my question. So are the assassins the only one with these point twisted looking shells ? or can some of the unwanted snails have this type of shell? Just curious if these are snails I want to remove when I see them or are they in fact offspring of the assasins?

MTS (malaysian trumpet snails) have similar shape, its very easy to distinguish the adults because of the different color, but i am not sure about tiny baby snails.

Thanks for the info. I suppose I might as well just leave them and let the assassins hunt them if they are in fact something unwanted
