There is the Utah Aquatic Plant Society, although most of the activity I know about is just on Facebook, I haven't heard of any actual meetups since some aquascaping classes Mike put on around the time he organized the group, but there could have been some I didn't hear about.

I would definitely be interested in networking with any planted tank folks around here though.

That's something at least. I didn't know about that group. I just requested to join. It would be cool if it was more active. I would love to meet some other people in the area, trade some plants, learn from each other. I know who Mike is and he seems to be pretty busy with his store and the plant business on the side. Maybe that's why it's not as active.

I have found you will get lots of more casual members this way, but then we can use this to set up mini-auctions or meetings or whatever. My 280 gallon low tech should be set up within a couple of weeks, after that I wouldn't mind hosting a meeting of some kind, the problem is that I live in Logan.
