I've found two snails in my tank, and yet I haven't added any. They are greenish and are kind of clear.

yes and no

they can be good because they stir up detrieus and clean up excess food

they can be bad because they can overpopulate a tank and look unsightly

they probably hitchhiked in on your plants as eggs kill them asap if you do not want them as most snails are hermaphrodites and can breed with themselves.

Snails will add to the biodiversity of the tank, which is a good thing. I don't have problems with snails unless there is an excess amount of food available to them. There are fish that eat snails or can be trained to, sometimes my clown loach will spin a shell in his mouth for a while attempting to suck out a snail. Don't really know if he's successfull but he's darn cute trying.

I removed them. I like the idea of adding biodiversity, but these snails are not cool.
