Hi all,

I'm looking to replace the bulbs in my 36" coralife hood with potentially some Aqualife 6000 bulbs - Amazon.com : Aquatic Life 39-Watt 34.5-Inch T5 HO Aquarium Lamp 6000K, fits 36-Inch and 72-Inch T5HO Light Fixtures : Pet Supplies - before I order them though, I'd like to ask the probably newbish question on whether or not I can use Aquatic life bulbs in a coralife hood?

Is your Coralife hood a T5HO fixture. You can tell by checking the wattage on the current tubes in there. If they are 39 watts you can use any brand of tube you want.
