Hello!

I have DIY CO2 System on my 60P currently with AquaticLife T5 HO light fixture and I want to upgrade to a real system so I can grow my dream carpet! I was thinking of getting an Aquatek system, I was hoping you guys could tell me which you would recommend for my set up?

Check locally and see what is easier to get refilled - a paintball co2 or a full size cylinder. If a full size is easy to fill there is really no reason not to get #1 if you have the space.

i use to have aquatic regulator with paintball on my 60p too and while it was not a completely bad system you get what you pay for. i would not do it again. filling small 20oz was happening too often for me to like it but i didn't have enough room inside the cabinet for nothing bigger . so if you have room don't do it . when it comes to regulator you can buy some used 2 stage regulator with decent metering valve from someone here on TPT or if you have bigger budget go for new. you can also check Aquarium CO2 System Specialists | Diffusers, Regulators | CO2Art.co.uk some nicely priced 2 stage regulators there.

If you get the aquatek, get the premium one. It has an adjustable working pressure. The other one is preset to APPROXIMATELY 30 psi. Some diffusers don't work well until 35 to 40 psi.
