Sorry I'm new.. I posted this same thread in the wrong forum. I am starting up a Tiger barb tank (7-8 tb)..I'm in the third stage of cycling. I'll also have a firemouth cichlid and rtbs in with them. I was wondering what types of decorations tb's like? I don't have a green thumb so artificial plants are best. Here's a link to my tank right now. Apologies, it's still a little cloudy from a bacterial bloom a couple weeks ago..

I have a 10g filter (my 40g one broke) and a 40g sponge filter.
any other plant/decoration advice is appreciated. thanks!

they are not shy fish and not picky about it one way or the other - they should have enough space to be active, otherwise it's your preference.

Well like reign said its really preference especially when it comes to a fish that is not very picky. you have rocks so maybe a small piece of wood surrounded by some green fake plants. When you can I would get a bigger filter for sure. In the meantime keep an eye on your parameters

There are plants that are hard to kill like mosses, ferns, anubias, and wisteria. Try them. The fish will love them.
