Hey Guys,

I will be in chicago next weekend and was wondering if there are any good aquarium stores in the chicago area, especially the type of stores with a nice assortment of plants and fish, not just another petsmart or petco.

Try Aquarium Adventures and Tropaquatics. Both are really nice and well worth the trip.

Sounds great, only one problem, I cannot find the stores on google map Where are they please?

The Aquarium Adventures are in both Hoffman Estates (that one is better, IMO) and another one in Bollingbrook. The one if Hoffman Estates is closer to the city and has a bigger assortment of plants and a huge selection of fish as well. They are a little bit on the pricey side though, but not too bad.

They have nice plants, also maybe rare ones? Or just the general types that you can find around here too?
