Anyone game to put together an aquarium society in Athens? I have access to a good meeting place in downtown Athens. Would be a good way to meet fellow hobbyists and exchange plants, fish, shrimp etc. Who's game?

Do you guys know about, http://www.atlantaaquarium.com/ ? If any of you go to the Petland in Athens ask for Ken Davis, he was one of the first people to organize that club and could probably give you a lot of info on how to get one started. He's also a Bulldog fan.

I'm in, but I hope you picked a meeting place with windows so me and the other lurkers around here can stand outside and watch. :icon_wink
I've been reading these forums for the last 12 months. I have 3 planted tanks running at the moment and I am negotiating with the finance committee for number 4!
I think a local group in Athens is a great idea and I would encourage others to join.
I say we kick this off this sunday with a road trip to the Atlanta Auction!

Unfortunately I can't go to the atl on Sunday. Wife kids and church arebthe order of the day. What weeknight might be good?

Any weeknight other than Tuesdays is good for me. Thursdays are the best night, and any time 6pm or later.
