Does anyone here use a Aquapod for shrimp only? I was looking at them but is seems there is no way to block the intake of the filter. Does anyone know?

I wouldn't worry too much. Just clean the filter periodically. I just cleaned my Eheim and there were 10+ cherries in it.

Just get some filter material... similar to this

use the coarse filter media and cut it a little bigger than the overflow You will have to clean it fairly frequently though. You can probally get it at your lfs.

That's a very cool way of blocking the the intakes for a nano cube. It looks very secure.
