I recently upgraded from a 55 to a 75 gallon tank, and I had some questions regarding the placement of the filter and powerhead. I have an Aquaclear 110 filter and an Aquaclear 50 powerhead. The intake on the Aquaclear filter is on the left side, while the outflow is on the right. Would it be okay to have the filter on the left side of the tank, and the powerhead on the right ? I would think this would circulate the water most and provide the best circulation. Suggestions ?
