Hey guys,

I am planning to set up a new 90 gal tank and was wondering if a 48'' finnex 4x54watt T5HO strip would be enough or if I need to add more to achieve very high light with CO2 (grow such plants as the rotala minis, maybe toninas, rotala walliichi, UG, etc.). Should this be enough as each light carries something like 5000 lumen or do I need to upgrade to more strips or more lights?

Thanks for any help.

That looks like a very nice light fixture, and it seems to have the good highly polished aluminum single bulb reflectors too. If you suspend it about 8-10 inches above the tank you would have high light intensity and excellent uniformity of the intensity throughout the tank.
