Anyone know a local source for A. cacatuoides? And any chance I can find several females? I need a trio myself, but my brother ended up with a bunch of males in his 125, and needs some gals.

I'd try Rivers to Reefs if you haven't already. They had a nice selection the last time I was in Columbus

Can't give you location-specific advice, however, contact any fish store/pet store and they'll be able to help! They can get you most species even if they don't usually stock them.
