Measured my PH @ 7.2 KH at 4 drops assuming 4 drops is about 60 ppm

using this calculator http://www.theaquatools.com/co2-calculations

if i enter 4 drops in kh.. not enough co2. if i enter 60ppm kh i have way to much co2

which is correct?

Enter your kH in German degrees (4, in your case).

With 1 bubble every 5 seconds, it is likely you do not have sufficient CO2. Optimal levels are generally ~30 ppm.

Yup. That calculator uses degrees, or dKH. Entering ppm will result in an inaccurate reading.

You are correct to question when things are way far off. Using any chart or info can have faults. When I use charts using PH and KH, my answers are so far off that I have to throw them out. I'm real sure my fish would not go far with 100+ PPM of CO2!
We have a lot of chaff to sort through in this game?

lol, yeah its kinda fun switching to planted tanks.. but information over load.. things have changed from 18 yrs back.. gud challange tho
