Has anyone used an API 5 in 1 test strip. That is all that that they had at 4 LFS's! I am trying to test for KH. The KH on these strips read 0, 40, 80, 120, 180, 240... My results were in "between" 0 and 40. Any clues on this? This might be a dumb question...... When I get a result of 40 on these strips, is that actually 4.0?

I called the lab at my municipal water utility, very helpful people, their KH and the 5-in-1 strip agreed very closely. I checkedthe pH with another manufacturer's pH kit, the reults agreed, so I am trusting the 5-in-1 strips.
